WAES will provide food assistance to those that require help in the Weston Mount Dennis community and will offer support without judgment.  We welcome community members from all backgrounds and walks of life.  We offer respect to all who come through our doors, both community members and volunteers.

WAES has been operating in this community since 1986.  It has been entirely volunteer run, with a dedicated group of people that come each week to unload, stock, purchase and distribute food.  WAES is supported by North York Harvest, Second Harvest and community faith organizations, schools, businesses, our elected officials and many generous individuals.

In 2020 we hired our first full time employee.  Due to the huge increase in need we felt we needed a food bank manager to ensure that WAES was able to continue to operate.
