About the USSU Food Centre
The USSU Food Centre was founded in 2003 by the University of Saskatchewan Students’ Union in partnership with the Saskatoon Food Bank to address food insecurity on campus. The prevalence of student hunger has risen due to rising tuition costs and limited student funding.
Accessing Emergency Food Hampers
Students with a valid Saskatchewan Health Card and Student ID can request emergency food hampers at the Food Centre, conveniently located in the USSU Main Office within the Place Riel Student Centre.
