Our mission is to support low-income individuals by providing access to a food distribution center.

The organization's goal is also to offer listening, encouragement, and to direct individuals to other resources and services in the neighborhood that can help them.

Our organization employs only two permanent staff members and relies on a dedicated and extraordinary team of around forty volunteers. Thanks to them, we are able to ensure the food security of our members and positively contribute to their health and quality of life.

Our clientele consists mainly of families, with many of them being single-parent households. In 2023, we served approximately 12,400 grocery bags and 920 Christmas baskets. The Samaritans' work is distinguished by the involvement of its extraordinary team of 60 volunteers who ensure the "continuity" of the food distribution service during our three weekly operation days. To this loyal base of committed volunteers, others join in occasionally to contribute to our mission either individually or by being referred by our community partners.
