Founded in 1989, MultiCaf has set out to provide food assistance, create social connections, and seek resources for low-income individuals in the Côte-des-Neiges neighborhood.

By offering affordable meals and various food support services, the organization enables hundreds of low-income individuals and families to continue to eat well each year. Additionally, it serves as a meeting place and social hub, often helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation experienced by its members.

MultiCaf also provides social intervention services, offering advice, facilitating resource searches, and directing its members to organizations capable of meeting their needs.

In collaboration with universities and institutions, MultiCaf is regularly involved in numerous research projects on societal issues such as homelessness, housing, nutrition, and urban agriculture. Among these projects is the baby formula distribution program.

With nearly 35 years of existence, MultiCaf has accumulated significant experience in understanding the needs of Côte-des-Neiges residents and has established strong bonds with its members.
