The MANA is a young organization with significant local experience thanks to the vision of its founder, Mrs. Yajanna Pupo. It's her roles as a mother, lawyer, and immigrant that have shaped its mission. She noticed that the majority of immigrants on Île des Soeurs are professionals who, upon arrival, need to learn French and, at the same time, have their educational diplomas and work experience from their home countries recognized. In order to meet the basic needs of every newcomer, a local network has been established, a true hub of welcome and information. Over time, it has evolved into a local support center.
