Description

Description:
The Basic Needs Program provides assistance, information, and referrals to low-income families, single parents, and newcomers residing in Northeast and Argyle, specifically within the N5Y & N5V postal codes. Many individuals and families first connect with us through our Community Resource Portable, where residents can access essential items such as clothing, food, hygiene products, baby food, and diapers. Additionally, we offer a breakfast program during March break and summer months for children, ensuring they start their day with a nutritious meal. Group sessions and activities are available to help foster skills, reduce isolation, and cultivate community connections.

Key Programming:
Emergency Food Cupboard (Community Resource Portable)
Households can visit our Emergency Food Cupboard at 1100 Victoria Dr. once a month, with requirements including ID for all household members and proof of income.
